Baptist Bible College, Pennsylvania
The Baptist Bible College and Seminary’s primary mission is the provision of excellence in biblical education that will prove most effective for ministry leadership. Its Christian-based education consists of on-campus, on-line and distance learning programs. Founded in 1932 in Johnson City, New York, the initial student body was only 40. The present Clarks Summit Campus in Pennsylvania was established in 1968 to accommodate the increasing number of students. Seminary classes started in 1972 while the Graduate School opened in 1989.
The Baptist Bible College offers 30 programs for its undergraduate studies including One-year Bible Certificate, Two-year Associate of Arts, Four-year Bachelor of Science in Bible and Five-year Bachelor of Sacred Music. Graduate Studies consist of Master of Science in Counseling Ministries, Master of Science in Christian School Education with 9 concentrations and Master of Arts. Master of Ministry, Master of Divinity, Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies comprise the Seminary Studies.
The cost of enrolling in any of its college programs is approximately $ 23,000.00 inclusive of tuition, room, board and fees. Graduate programs cost $ 400.00 tuition per credit hour as well as that of the seminary programs. Financial aid is available on all programs.
The college campus is located in a suburban area which is about 10 miles from Scranton, Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is an area blessed with a rich history and a booming economy.
