Dr. Allan Mackae and Dr. Jack Murray of the Faith Theological School and Bible Evangelism Inc. respectively, shared a common vision and established the Biblical School of Theology in 1971. It was and is still located at 200 North Main Street, Hatfield, Pennsylvania but is now known as the Biblical Theological Seminary. It is located in an area rich with historical landmarks, cultural attractions and the scenic countryside.

Biblical Theological Seminary is a nationally accredited graduate school that offers degrees in the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts and the Doctor of Ministry. The Master of Divinity courses are mainly categorized as traditional, leadership and urban concentration while the Master of Arts degree offers concentrations on counseling, ministry, theology, biblical studies and church planting. Certificate courses and other non-degree learning opportunities are made available including two online courses – Certificate in Missional Theology and the Certificate on Youth Ministry.

Total present enrolment is 250 which is handled by 13 resident and 16 adjunct faculty members. The seminary has about 1,300 alumni serving in different parts of the world as pastors, missionaries, counselors, church planters and other positions in other secular professions. A student has to take 75 credit hours of core curriculum classes and an integrative senior seminar. Afterwhich, 15 hours from one of 3 tracks – general track, theology and culture or ministry on content, should be taken.

Traditional courses cost $ 441.00 per credit hour while Leadership and Urban Courses cost $ 43,470.00 annually not including the cost of mission trips. Textbooks cost range from $ 500.00 to $ 700.00 per year for 18 credits. The seminary’s residential campus is just a short walk away and accommodates couples and singles.
