Cabrini College

Founded in 1957 by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania is a residential Catholic college offering more than 30 undergraduate majors, two graduate programs and many teacher certifications, pre professional programs and concentrations.

Located on a 112-acre campus, Cabrini serves more than 3,100 undergraduate and graduate students from 19 states and from diverse cultures enrolled in undergraduate, graduate and professional studies programs including bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in education, bachelor of science in social work, master of education, and master of science in organization leadership. The small class size which average 17 students contribute to a lively interaction between students and its renowned faculty for a dynamic learning experience.

Tuition and fees for the 2009-2010 academic year is $30,120 for full-time undergraduate students (at least 18 credits); $455 (per credit hour for 11.5 or fewer credits or for each hour over 18 credit hours) for part-time undergraduate students.

Cabrini is one of the few private, Catholic colleges in Pennsylvania offering the Co-op Program to allow students to work part time in their chosen fields, and was among the first to implement community service into its curriculum.

Cabrini provides adequate housing facilities for its students 60 percent of whom live on campus. The cost of room rates in Cabrini’s complex of houses, apartments and residential halls average $6,600 –7,200 per year.

To foster student involvement and friendship, Cabrini offers a wide range of extracurricular and sports activities. There are almost 60 clubs and professional organizations. Cabrini is also an active member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Colonial States Athletic Conference covering basketball, soccer, tennis, cross-country, track, swimming, golf, lacrosse, volleyball, softball, and field hockey.
