Geneva College

Geneva College is a private, four-year Christian liberal arts and science college with a mission to “glorify God by administering to a diverse community of students for the purpose of developing servant-leaders for the kingdom of Christ.” Founded in 1848 by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America, the Geneva College campus now stands in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.

Geneva College offers its undergraduate students associate and bachelor’s degrees in a wide variety of majors the most popular of which include education, business, engineering, biology, Bible and Christian studies, communication, human services, sociology, political science and psychology. For its Graduate program, the college awards students with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Counseling, Higher Education, Organizational Leadership, Special Education and Reading.

A Degree Completion Program (DCP) is also available for students whose situation in life makes it difficult for them to attend regular classes at the main campus. Through the DCP, these students can enroll in 11 locations within Pennsylvania to complete their degrees.

Currently, there are 1,879 students enrolled at Geneva College with 96 full-time faculty members to mentor them. The student to faculty ratio is 13 to 1.

Cost of attendance at Geneva College for academic year 2009-2010 is US$29,170 for full-time undergraduate students and US$715 per credit hour for part-time students. Those enrolled in the Graduate programs pay a tuition cost of US$625 per credit hour. Financial Aid can be availed of by students who qualify.

There are seven residence halls available for residential students in the Geneva campus. The college encourages on-campus residence to allow students to live in community with one another and thereby learn from each other.
