Keystone College

Keystone College is a private, residential, co-educational college located in La Plume, Pennsylvania in Lackawanna County. Founded in 1868, the school’s campus stands in a 270-acre property with 32 buildings and 6 residential halls.

Keystone College is committed to insuring that all its students are given the opportunity to develop themselves to their full potential. It does this by making available to them professional degrees that will serve them well in their future careers. Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees as well as Certificates in one of several majors are offered by the college through its six distinguished divisions of Business, Management and Technology; Communication Arts and Humanities; Education; Fine Arts; Natural Sciences and Mathematics; and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Currently, there are around 1,700 students enrolled at Keystone College coming from 14 U.S. states and 12 other countries. With a student to faculty ratio of 14 to 1, the college guarantees that students are given the time and focused instruction they need especially in resolving issues pertaining to their studies.

Cost of attendance at Keystone College for academic year 2009-2010 is US$18,845 per year for fulltime students plus room and board charges of US$8,760 for those who want to live on campus. Part-time students pay a tuition charge of US$390 per credit. Financial aid in the form of loans, grants and scholarships are extended by the college to help students pay for their tuition costs.

On-campus housing is available in a variety of options and is offered by the college in line with its belief that making students live together in community with one another is a way of training them to deal with various types of people.
