Dakota State University
Dakota State University, founded in 1881, is a public university located in Madison, South Dakota. The university teaches over 2,700 students in its three colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Information Systems, and College of Education. The student to faculty ratio is 16:1. Over 50 percent of the students are females.
Dakota State University offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Programs in the university are governed by the South Dakota Board of Regents and accredited by North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The undergraduate programs offer Associate’s degrees in Application Programming, Business Management, General Studies, Health Information Technology, Office Management, and Respiratory Care, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in over 30 programs. International students wanting to enroll need to meet a few requirements such as Baccalaureate degree, TOEFL score, GRE, financial sustainability, and undergraduate grade point.
