East Tennessee State University (ETSU) conducts its Cohort Programs to serve students living outside Johnson City, the location of its main campus. Some of the cohort locations include Anderson County, Cleveland, Hampton, Knox County, Morristown, Mountain City, Sevierville, Washington County, Bristol and Kingsport. Since cohort programs are most often established as off-campus locations, busy working adults are provided the option of furthering their education despite their other responsibilities.
