Amberton University

Amberton University is a private institution which offers four-year degree programs. It actually started out as an extension campus of Abilene Christian University in Mesquite, Texas. In 1974, the campus was moved to Garland, Texas. The name was changed to Amber University in 1982, and it was only in 2001 that the university got its present name.
