Jarvis Christian College (JCC) is a traditional liberal arts institution that conducts its programs in accordance with the Judeo-Christian tradition. Jarvis Christian College offers its programs through its Division of Business Administration and Science with concentrations on Science and Math, Biology, Chemistry, Criminal Justice. Social Science, Sociology and Social Work and through the Division of Arts and Education with concentration in English, Fine Arts, History, Literature and Languages, Music and Religion plus alternative certificate programs. Other academic programs are provided through the Honors Programs, Upward Bound and the STEM Scholar Program.
Housing facilities are comprised of residence halls administered by live-in hall managers. Options would include the Isaiah Quit Hurdle Hall Dormitory, the Tomas Buchanan Frost Dormitory, the Peter Clarence Washington Hall Dormitory, the Charles A. Berry Honors Dormitory, the John Oliver Perpener Hall Dormitory, the Mary Ann Jamison Aphin Hall Dormitory, the Venita Carney Waddleton Hall Dormitory, the W.J. Fuller Hall Honors Dormitory, the Ora Lee Randall Carey Hall Dormitory and the Wilma Erwin Hall Dormitory. The first five dormitories are for male students while the rest are for female students. Special accommodation requirements have to be submitted in writing to the Office of Student Affairs/Housing Department. Professional documentation for any declared disability is required.
