Liberty University was founded in 1971 in Lynchburg, VA, and sits on a 5,000-acre campus that houses over 100 buildings. With an enrollment of over 28,000 students taking classes on campus and online, Liberty University serves an active community of students who participate in NCAA and intramural sports, 70 undergraduate programs and over 50 graduate programs. Liberty University is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Students at Liberty University have the freedom to customize their education based on in-class courses and online programs.
