Carthage College

Founded by Lutheran pioneers in 1847, Carthage College provides a four-year liberal arts and science education in its college campus in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, its campus is situated within a 95-acre botanical garden beside Lake Michigan.

Its undergraduate enrollment exceeds 2,300. With an average class size of 17 students, its student to faculty ratio is only 14:1.

2009-2010 annual tuition and fees amount to $28,250 excluding a residence fee (double room, 10 meals per week + 65 block meals) of $7,750. Total cost amounts $36,000 per year. Nearly ninety percent of Carthage students receive financial aid through loans, grants and scholarships.

More than ninety percent of Carthage College seniors secure excellent employment soon after graduation.

The U.S.News & World Report ranked Carthage in 2009 as “Best Baccalaureate College” while The Princeton Review called it the Best College in the Midwestern Region for the same year.
