Edgewood College
Edgewood College is a Catholic educational institution of Dominican tradition. Its main campus is located at 1000 Edgewood College Drive, Madison, Wisconsin, just minutes away from the Capitol. It has another campus located in Deming Way, on Madison’s west side.
Edgewood’s academic programs consist of more than 60 majors and 40 minors plus numerous unique programs and study opportunities. Its various programs are offered through its schools including the School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education, School of Graduate and Professional Studies, School of Integrative Studies and School of Nursing. Several post baccalaureate programs are offered for those interested in earning an additional degree. The Teacher Certification Program is one of the more popular among the available choices. Another popular choice is the Nursing Program. Still another program specifically designed for adult learners with significant disabilities is the Cutting-Edge Program.
Tuition for full-time students is $ 21,042.00 per year for 12 to 17 credits per semester. Each additional credit over 17 costs $ 662.00 which is the same rate paid by part-time students per credit hour. Annual room and board rates range from a low of $ 6,750.00 to a high of $ 7,184.00. Financial aid packages are available through merit-based scholarships and need-based scholarships.
Total present enrollment is approximately 2,400. The average class size is 15 while the student/faculty ratio is 13:1. About 56% of full-time faculty holds PhDs or equivalent terminal degrees.
