Maranatha Baptist Bible College
Founded by Dr, B. Myron and Thelma Cedarholm in 1968, Maranatha Baptist Bible College was dubbed as the “Miracle School” since its establishment is credited to God’s providence. Its name was lifted from the Holy Scriptures of the Bible. The college’s first classes involved 27 teachers and 173 students. It is located at 745 West Main Street, Watertown, Wisconsin.
Total student enrollment is 866 with a student/faculty ratio of 15:1. Undergraduate courses include Bible; Church Ministries and Missions; Business; Education; English, Literature and Writing; History; Math and Science; Music and Fine Arts; and Spanish. Seminary courses include Biblical Counseling, Biblical Languages; Biblical Studies, Cross-Cultural Studies, Historical Theology and Policy, New Testament Studies, Old Testament Studies, Systematic Theology, and the Bible, MA. The Master’s Programs in Bible can be taught entirely online and can be completed in two years.
Maranatha Baptist Bible College offers its various programs through its academic departments comprised of the Bible Department, Education Department, Business Department, Fine Arts Department, Nursing Department, Applied Sciences Department, Humanities Department and the Graduate School. This regionally accredited fundamental Baptist institution requires a Bible core as well as a broad liberal arts emphasis for every major.
Undergraduate cost for 12 to 18 credits is $ 5,000.00 per semester credits. Credits over 18 are charged $ 260.00 per credit while credits below 12 are charged $ 417.00 per credit. Room and board costs $ 2,995.00 per semester. Extra and co-curricular activities include campus ministry, fine arts activities such as musical and dramatic production, ensembles and plays, as well as various athletic offerings in men’s soccer, football, basketball, cross-country and many more.
